Harris Expands Lead Over Trump in New Reader Survey

The vice president is also gaining support among prominent figures in tech.

Vice President Kamala Harris has more support among The Information readers than President Joe Biden did before he dropped out of the presidential race, according to our latest survey.

Asked who they would vote for if the election were held today, survey respondents favored Harris over former President Donald Trump 76% to 19%. In a similar survey a week earlier, readers favored Biden over Trump 59% to 27%. Nearly 1,900 people responded to the latest survey on Wednesday and Thursday.
