How Diane Greene is Reinventing Google Cloud
Google Cloud chief Diane Greene spent six months negotiating with Evernote CTO Anirban Kundu and other company executives to win the productivity software firm’s data storage business. At one point, a technical issue nearly derailed the talks. But Ms. Greene made it clear that Google would address the issue quickly, Mr. Kundu said.
“Her participation was a big reason why we chose Google,” said Mr. Kundu in an interview. Google provided Evernote with custom-designed software designed to make transfer of the company's data to Google Cloud easier. Evernote made the decision official last month.
