Ramp in Talks to Raise at $16 Billion Valuation in Round Led by Founders Fund
Ramp, a six-year-old corporate card and expense management startup, is in talks to raise money at a valuation of about $16 billion including the new investment, according to two people with direct knowledge of the fundraising. It is planning to raise about $200 million for the round, according to one of the people.
The new funding would be slightly higher than its $13 billion valuation in March, when it arranged for a sale of shares from employees and early investors, and is more than double its valuation when it raised money from investors in April last year. Founders Fund, an existing investor, is in talks to lead the new investment, according to the people.
