Once dubbed the “it girl” of venture capital, Li Jin seems to always be in the loop. With her first fund, Atelier Ventures, Jin was one of the earliest investors to bet big on online creators and influencers, advising the likes of YouTuber Hank Green and investing in Substack and Patreon. She’s now a co-founder of Variant Fund, an early-stage crypto fund, while also writing a Substack newsletter, co-hosting a talk show and tending to her 168,000 Twitter followers.
