‘Smart Money’ Pulls Back From Early-Stage Startups

The smart money is betting less on early-stage tech startups.

Blue chip venture capitalists accounted for 5.3% of series A funding in the first nine months of this year, down from 6.1% last year and 7.5% in 2013, according to a new study of private tech investments.
