Subscribers Sour on Tech and Economy

The Information’s subscribers soured on both the technology sector and the overall economy in the past month, our latest subscriber survey showed. On balance, though, subscribers remain positive toward tech even as they turned slightly negative toward the economy.

Tech got a sentiment score of 15.2% while the general economy clocked in at negative 5.2%. The sentiment score is the percentage of subscribers who are more optimistic minus the percentage who are less optimistic.
