Sales of Tesla’s electric vehicles are falling, its profit margins are shrinking and investors show little near-term faith in CEO Elon Musk’s plan for deploying autonomous Robotaxis. Tesla shares fell 12% Wednesday, one day after a lackluster second-quarter earnings report, trimming what had been a 73% runup since late April.
