The Information Subscribers Most Likely to Pay for Google Among Tech Services
More than 40% of subscribers say they would be willing to pay for access to Google, if it meant that the company would no longer rely on users’ personal information to sell advertising, results of The Information’s latest survey show.
Subscribers showed far less interest in paying for other services, including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Around 17% of survey respondents said they would pay for YouTube in exchange for keeping their personal information private, while 13% said they would pay for Twitter.
