The software company raised $200 million from investors in April, which it is using to expand its offerings and its international presence
Human resources software firm Rippling raised $200 million from investors in April with a pitch that its ability to help companies manage employee data could also help them manage their computers, payroll and corporate credit cards. CEO Parker Conrad hopes to appeal to businesses that want to deal with fewer software systems.
Rippling also is expanding internationally, most notably in India, where it recently hired Mrinal Chatterjee, a veteran of Amazon and Walmart, as a senior vice president of engineering. Rippling identified India as a priority because many Indian businesses employ people in other countries and Rippling touts its software as ideal for international workforces.
