‘Everforce’ and Other Tech M&A Predictions

If you believe that we’re a few innings into some dramatic new technological developments (which I do) and that big tech companies are going to be eager to defend their turf (which I do), you’d be wise to predict more tech M&A, big and small.

With that in mind, I set out over the past few weeks to ask around about suspected acquisition targets. M&A is a funny thing in Silicon Valley. Some deals come out of the blue (Google buying Nest). But many more stem from what one insider recently described to me as “constant acquisition talks.” In other words, some companies are natural acquisition targets and suitors regularly circle.
