The Vast Majority of OpenAI Employees Ask the Board to Resign

The Information has updated its OpenAI Org Chart to reflect the changes beginning with the ouster of former CEO Sam Altman.

More than 710 of OpenAI’s 770 employees have signed a letter to the company’s board asking members to resign and to reinstate former CEO Sam Altman and former President Greg Brockman. If Altman and Brockman are not reinstated, the employees say they will join the duo at Microsoft, according to employees.

The Information has updated our OpenAI Org Chart, which included 25 key decision-makers at the company before Altman’s abrupt removal, to document the shake-up and show which employees signed the letter. The revised Org Chart includes Emmett Shear, who was named interim CEO Sunday.
