The Uber Executives Running its Self-Driving Car Expansion

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi has said that by the end of the decade, 20% to 40% of the number of trips Uber completes in certain cities will be robotaxi rides. To drive that expansion, the ride-hailing company has staffed up over the past 14 months with autonomous vehicle experts from companies like Waymo and Nuro.

Those new additions are part of the more than 60 leaders in a newly updated Uber organizational chart. It includes other recent shifts in Uber’s senior ranks. For instance, Balaji Krishnamurthy, who had been chief finance officer overseeing ride-hailing and delivery units, this January started to oversee investor relations as well. He reports to Uber Chief Financial Officer Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah, who joined from Analog Devices more than a year ago.
