Where Tech Leaders Travel After the World Economic Forum
Stay in Switzerland—or maybe jet off for some sand.
The World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos is the Super Bowl of schmoozing. And let’s face it, after a week of nonstop on-calendar panel discussions, off-calendar networking and late-night parties—Google and McKinsey & Co. are known for throwing some of the best ones!—even the most extroverted movers and shakers need a little R&R and time to plot their next moves.
We canvassed a mix of seasoned Davos attendees, as well as the staff and travel advisers who support them. Based on those insights, these are the destinations where people seem to be heading after the last delegates file out of the Congress Center this year. While some are putting up an out-of-office message and heading straight to the ski slopes (this is Switzerland, after all), others are soldiering on with the never-ending global tech conference circuit, hardly skipping a beat.
