A Customer Feedback Startup Is in Talks For $125 Million Financing Led By Anthropic Investor
AI that generates realistic voices has come a long way. It powers applications like ChatGPT, phone-based customer support and increasingly helps businesses solicit verbal feedback from their customers about products or experiences.
One AI startup in that field is San Francisco-based Listen Labs, which helps businesses automate interviews with existing or potential customers. The startup is raising $125 million of funding at a valuation of around $1.5 billion, according to a person with knowledge of the talks. Menlo Ventures, a large Anthropic backer, is in talks to lead the round, the person said.
If completed, the new round would triple the startup’s valuation from a financing round it announced just seven months ago. It has already raised $100 million in funding from investors including Ribbit Capital, Sequoia Capital and Conviction Partners.
