I’m only slightly jet-lagged after coming back from last week’s International Conference on Machine Learning in Seoul, where AI researchers from around the world shared new ways to run and train models more efficiently. Thankfully for OpenAI, the conference ended before Apple filed its blockbuster lawsuit accusing key OpenAI device designers and engineers of stealing trade secrets when they left Apple.
