Pro Weekly: Chime Taps IPO Veterans in Run-Up to Likely Stock Debut
In the run-up to its expected initial public offering this year, Chime has been adding C-suite executives and leaders from public companies, according to The Information’s updated Chime Org Chart. More than one-third of the 42 people on our chart have joined the digital banking company in the past two years.
New hires include Sarah Wagener, chief people officer, who occupied that seat at DoorDash during its 2020 IPO and joined Chime last year. Adam Frankel, general counsel, who had led Evercore’s legal team since its 2006 IPO, joined Chime in 2023, replacing Kate Karas. Both Wagener and Frankel report to CEO Chris Britt.
