Pro Weekly: Cloud Spending Soars

Selling cloud services is a good business these days. More than a dozen companies in our Cloud Database have increased their cloud spending lately. For many, it reflects a broader push to embed artificial intelligence into every part of their business. Those AI offerings are powered by cloud computing.
Take Snap, for example. We now estimate the social media company is spending at least $1.2 billion a year on cloud services, up from our previous estimate of $1 billion. The company said in recent filings that the increase reflects growth in the number of users on its platform.
