Netflix’s Earnings Will Test Pricey Stock
It may feel like we’ve just finished earnings season—but hey, time flies when you’re having fun. Yes, earnings are upon us again. Netflix, as always, kicks off tech’s roster of quarterly reports on Thursday. And there are a bunch of recent buyers of Netflix stock who have much riding on what the streaming giant reports.
Netflix stock has hit new all-time highs in the past month, lifting it to as high as $730 on Thursday (although it has since slipped, closing today at $713). You may remember that in 2022, after subscriber growth stalled, Netflix shares plummeted like a television set tossed out a 25th-floor window, falling as low as $166 from their high of $691 set in November 2021.
