Joby Aviation, a maker of electric flying taxis, is coming to the skies of New York sooner than expected, only with fuel-powered aircraft to start with. Joby said today it is buying Blade Air Mobility, known for its helicopter flights to the city’s airports and the Hamptons on Long Island.
