Google is a multinational technology company specializing in internet-related products and services, founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Its core businesses include search, advertising and cloud computing, but it also has divisions in hardware and software development. Sundar Pichai currently serves as CEO. Its primary competitors include other major tech companies such as Amazon, Apple and Facebook. Google is making forays into artificial intelligence with Gemini, its conversational AI that aims to compete with OpenAI.
